This piece is part of a collection called "Ebony". In this series I expored the use of black as the predominant colour in each image. The combination of black with either vibrant, fresh pure colour or a palette of greys, created a distinctive look. It is sometimes a challenge to use black without the image becoming muddy...hence the series itself became a great technical challenge.
