This piece was part of the element series. Painted in 2004, the series was inspired by the medieval, Asian and verdic concepts of the elements. Particularly in verdic the body being ruled by a particular element. Balance, being the key. Air was my favourite of the series to create, the sense of being lifted by the wind and at the same time part of it.
