"Just breathe" was a collection that was shown in mid 2007 at Ashton Grove in Wellington. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to work on a larger scale of works. The majority of these works were in acrylic due to the tight timeframe.

"Escape" was the first piece I painted for this collection. Unfortionately the detail gets lost in this image, The frills, almost felt like they were real. I think since this piece, I have planned more work with corsets. They are amazing to paint-but also hold such strong and evolving symbolisim.
