"Unfinished Passion" was part of the Lustre Collection from late 2007. This was shown in Framework gallery and the full collection in the Quimzy gallery in Wellington.
Unfinished Passion evolved to this point after a months work, I then went on to work on some other pieces. At which time I had to conclude, it didn't need anymore. The unfinished look and paint runs added to the sense of movement and intensity of the piece. They stand larger than life.
This however didn't allow me to evolve some of the ideas I had with this piece, so in late 2008 I took the very unusual step of painting a second version of "Passion"
